RE: Weird Vsti scan behavior

Thanks for the info. No changes have been made to any of the dll's. However, the Vst folder contains not only the 64bit vsti's but "bridged" versions as well because I Jbridged them for use in Nuendo before I bailed on that. Could this scenario be the culprit? Well, just checked by removing all the bridged vsti's and so far so good. I didn't realize 32 bit reaper will use 64 bit vsti's without them needing to be bridged. Am I halucinating? Thanks again, Jim

Hey, cool stuff even though I'm basically a jazz guy. No snob here. You play good. And I'm pretty vintage myself. But yes, I'm very much into Reaper and it's a fantastic concept, especially for audio only folks. I'm trapped into having to do mostly midi so there's definitely some buggy weirdness going on but nothing that's a complete show stopper. Like a piano track I recorded with Ivory and the first few passes on playback will result in hung notes. If I leave it alone for a few minutes it's almost like the "samples have finally loaded" :). That and a real bug in Kontakt where Alicia's Keys crashes reaper every time when you try a different room setting and hit play. Very weird... In any event, I've gone on too long. Thanks for getting back to me and keep bangin' your head, dude! :D
