Plugsound and PTLE 6.1

MessageAuthor

I installed the OSX version of plugsound but nothing shows up in Protools. Is there a trick to get it to work? Do I need to config something in MIDI? how do I use this plugin? there is currently no info for OSX on Plugsound. Please Help.

First make sure that in your PT plug-ins folder you have two files. one is the PS0X plug in and the alias form the dat file. If the dat file ends with alias word at the end then delete the alias part of it. Next go to pro tools mixer create an aux track - open plugsoudn as an insert - select the appropriate output which you use to monitor. Then create a midi track input use your keyboard output use your plugsound - I think you have to enable the record button to hear it live.

RE: Plugsound and PTLE 6.1

Well I installed the software and followed the onscreen instructions and it only put the Plugsound.dat folder in the Library/Audio/Sounds or /plugin folder. I have not seen the PS0x folder anywere. Do I need to go looking for it? Does the install put the right things in the right places? or do I need to phisicaly go looking for the files and place them in the Digidesign/Plugin alias folder? This is quite confusing because I have tryed to paste the Plugsound.dat folder into the digi plugins but still nothing shows up. Where would I find the PS0x file?
