Reaper fails to load...please help!

Hey everyone...I have project in reaper that fails to load properly. Some times it hangs immediately , other times it loads some things but I only get the master fader and no other faders, and as soon as I try to click on something the window goes to "not responding" and then just crashes. It only does this on this one project, and it worked fine the last time I loaded it a few days ago... The only thing I can think is that I did change an SSD with some samples on it, and installed another sample library on that drive as well. I don't know if this somehow affected it? I don't think I have anything in that project that would even be using anything on that SSD, so I don't know if that's it...I installed EastWest Symphonic Orchestra and the new version of their PLAY engine, so maybe that has something to do with it...? Is there some way to load reaper in a "safe mode" of sorts? I thought maybe I'd try to disable or delete the plugins one at a time to find the one causing problems...? As it is, the whole project is not even able to be played as I can't click on anything at all with it going to "not responding"... Is there anything I can do? Computer is an Intel i7 3930k, UA Apollo interface, 32gigs ram, Asus Sabertooth X79 mobo. Any info is very appreciated...thanks! Brian

open the project from the file/open menu, making sure you tick 'open with FX offline'. one of the fx are 'probably' the issue. Go through and put each fx back online and see what the culprit is.

Looks like the PLAY engine was the culprit. I deleted the track with it and started a new one and it worked...thanks! Brian
