hi another problem i had at mot time today cant get the sidelights to come on? have just changed teh bulbs so its not them or the fuse? any other ideas? ok they come on when the switch is in the off position and when headlights are on just not when i try to put sidelights on ,on their own many thks anthony

Hmm, how odd, I've jsut been out and looked at mine - the middle position on the headlamp switch doesn't appear to do anything!

Sorry mate, i have no idea, thankfully my MOT is not out till October. I do hope you get it sorted though..... could you not have a fiddle at the back of the switch, work out what is what and make something up? Even if its not 100% you can get it through the MOT then remove it and carry on as before.
