Search on the web for something called ForceASPI...you can use it to install the proper aspi drivers. then aspicheck shouldn't complain

It doesnt use ASPI. It has its own interface driver.

The most stable version of Adaptec's ASPI layer is version 1.60 and, believe me, don't try ver. 1.72_a2 or you may have a nightmare on your hands. It most certainly doesn't like Win ME. Any of these can be downloaded for free from then hunt around the downloads section. leisuredoc :p
